Manufactured HRPO Steel Front Seat Spring Bracket
The project highlighted here was designed for use as a seat spring in a trucking application. The spring is composed of grade 50 HRPO steel, which was chosen for its strength.
At Central Ohio Metal Stamping, we specialize in a wide range of fabrication processes; this project highlights the bulk of our manufacturing capabilities.
The raw steel blanks were stamped on our precision stamping presses; a press brake was also utilized to further form the parts. There were six different stamped components that make up the entire assembly. Welding was used for assembly and was completed on our advanced 6-axis OTC Daihen robotic welding cells, this allowed for tolerances of ±.005", it was then finished with a painting process. Throughout the process, the components were subject to stringent quality measures; this includes visual and dimensional inspections. In addition to highlighting our manufacturing capabilities, it also exemplifies our ability to produce high volume precision manufactured products.
